By accessing or using BrainMap ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

BrainMap is a personal knowledge management application that allows you to create, organize, and discover connections between your notes using AI-powered analysis. The Service includes note creation, AI categorization, semantic search, and data export features.

3. User Accounts

  • You may create an account using Google Sign-In or email/password registration.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

4. User Content

  • You retain ownership of all content (notes, images, etc.) you create in BrainMap.
  • You grant us a limited license to process your content for the purpose of providing the Service (e.g., AI analysis, search indexing).
  • You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

5. Free & Premium Tiers

BrainMap offers a free tier with limited AI credits and a premium tier with enhanced features. Premium subscriptions are billed through our payment provider. You may cancel your subscription at any time.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
  • Abuse the AI processing features (e.g., automated bulk submissions)
  • Interfere with other users' use of the Service

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any data loss, service interruptions, or damages arising from your use of the Service. We recommend regularly exporting your data as a backup.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
